Respondents Prayer:- Habeas Corpus Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to produce the body or corpus of the petitioner's daughter namely Latha, aged about 21 years, W/o.Muthukalai, residing at Mangalapuram Village, Puthuthamaraipatti, Madurai before this Court by securing her and set her at liberty forthwith. (Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J) This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to trace out and produce the detenu by name Latha, aged 21 years, daughter of the petitioner.
2. The petitioner is present and he has been identified by his counsel.
3. The second respondent viz., Inspector of Police, Othakadai Police Station has produced the detenu and she has been identified by the petitioner.
4. Considering the aforesaid factual circumstances, the relief sought in the petition has become infructuous.
