J U D G M E N T
(Judgment of the Court was delivered by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.) The Writ Appeal has been instituted challenging the order dated 31.01.2023, passed in W.P.(MD) No.14894 of 2020.
2. Paragraphs 3 to 5 of the order passed by the learned Single Judge reads as under:- "3. When the writ petition was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner restricted his prayer to the effect that if a direction is issued to the respondents to conclude the departmental proceedings, the petitioner would be satisfied.
4. Heard the learned Additional Government Pleader, who would submit that she has no objection for the prayer now made.
5. In view of the above submission and in view of the limited relief that has been now sought for, the writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondents to conclude the departmental proceedings within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs." 2/4
3. Learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents submitted a copy of the final order passed by the Director of Motor Vehicles Maintenance Department in proceedings dated 13.03.2023.
4. Thus, the disciplinary proceedings initiated against the appellant was concluded and therefore, the appellant is at liberty to file an appeal before the competent authority for the purpose of redressal of his grievances.
