Respondents Prayer:- Habeas Corpus Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to produce the petitioner's wife and son, the detenu or his corpus namely Ranjitha, female, aged about 22 years and Kathir, male, aged about 1-1/2 years before this Court and hand over them to custody to the petitioner. (Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J) This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to trace out and produce the detenu namely Ranjitha and Kathir, wife and son of the petitioner.

2. The petitioner is present and he has been identified by his counsel.

3. The second respondent viz., Inspector of Police, Melur Police Station has produced the detenu and they have been identified by the petitioner.

4. Considering the aforesaid factual circumstances, the relief sought in the petition has become infructuous.
