Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner Mr.M.Perumal, Mr.C.Satheesh, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 & 2 and Mr.S.Prakash, learned Government Advocate [Crl. Side] appearing for the third respondent. 2.The petitioner seeks survey to be conducted based on the petitioner's representation dated 21.02.2023.

However, Mr.C.Satheesh, points out from the affidavit as well as the typed set of papers that even according to the petitioner, the survey was conducted on 22.03.2025.

3.The grievance of the petitioner appears to be that the petitioner is unable to lay boundary stones even though the respondent authorities have identified the four boundaries to the satisfaction of the petitioner. The petitioner contends that the fourth 2/5

respondent is obstructing for boundary stones to be erected and has already damaged the boundary stones fixed by the survey officials. 4.If at all the petitioner wanted re-survey to be conducted, it shall be open to the petitioner to make necessary application for resurvey. In any event, it is for the petitioner to protect his property by fixing boundary stones at his costs and for such purpose, the petitioner cannot seek the services of the survey officials. 5.With the above liberty to the petitioner, to make fresh application for re-survey, the Writ Petition is disposed of. In the event of any such application being made within a period of two [2] weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, the said survey shall be conducted within a period of twelve [12] weeks thereafter, in the presence of the jurisdictional police. There shall be no order as to costs.
