ORDER

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2.

2. The petitioner seeks cancellation of the patta issued in favour of the third respondent. The petitioner has filed an appeal before the first respondent and he seeks disposal of the same. No exception can be taken to the said request. The first respondent is directed to dispose of the petition mentioned appeal on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. W.P(MD)No.11217 of 2022 to be necessarily heard before passing the final order. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter. It is for the first respondent to pass orders one way or the other. The only direction that has now been given is for expeditious disposal of the petition mentioned appeal.

3. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
