Heard Mr.C.Gangai Amaran, learned Counsel for the petitioner and Mr.M.Lingadurai, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.
2.The petitioner has sought for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to conduct survey and fix four boundaries of his property based on his application dated 17.02.2025. It is seen from the affidavit that the petitioner has earlier made an application for survey and the petitioner also approached this Court in W.P.(MD)No.24193 of 2024. On 16.10.2024, recording the statement of the respondents that said survey was conducted on 03.10.2024, the Writ Petition came to be disposed of. However, the contention of the petitioner is that there was no survey was conducted on 03.10.2024 and therefore, the petitioner was constrained to make fresh survey application and also pay the requisite charges.

3.Be that as it may, considering the fact that now the petitioner seeks based on a fresh application in respect of which, necessary charges have also been paid, the first respondent is directed to conduct survey based on the petitioner's application dated 17.02.2025, in the presence of the petitioner and if necessary, after hearing the adjoining neighbouring owners and their objections, if any and conclude the survey within a period of twelve [12] weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
