Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court S-10.To issue a writ of Mandamus to directing the respondents to promote the petitioner as Forester from the date on which his junior was given promotion to the post of Forester as per the Seniority fixed by the 2nd respondent dt 11.12.2020 by considering the petitioners representation dt 22.12.2020 and pass such further or other orders as may deem fit and thus render justice.

The present Contempt Petition has been filed alleging non compliance of the order dated 05.02.2021 made in W.P.(MD) No.1992 of 2021

2. As per the direction issued by this Court, the respondent has passed an order in his proceeding in No.Ka.No.Aaa1/48803/2020, dated 12.07.2021, stating that the issue is pending before the Hon'ble Supreme Court and after final order passed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court, the petitioner's claim can be considered. The said order has been communicated to the petitioner.

Cont.P.(MD) No.944 of 2021 willful disobedience on the part of the respondent as alleged in the Contempt Petition. Hence, this Contempt Petition is closed. It is for the petitioner to work out his remedy before the appropriate forum, if so advised.
