: Respondents Prayer: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents herein to grant permission to the petitioner to operate mike sound system during the Vaikasi Festival Scheduled from 27.05.2015 to 31.05.2015 in the temples viz., 1. Sri Vinayagar Temple 2. Muthalamman Temple 3. Sri Krishnar 4. A.M. Kaliamman and S. Pattathu Arasi Amman situated in Kovilpatti village, Mallanginaru, Kariyapatti Taluk, Virudhunagar District under the control and Management of the petitioner trust and consequently permit the petitioner to conduct Adal Padal cum Cultural Festivals on 31.05.2015 with adequate Police protection.
