Respondents Prayer:- Habeas Corpus Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus praying to call for records pertaining to the impugned detention order passed by the second respondent made in his proceedings in P.D.No.70 of 2015, dated 23.11.2015 in detaining the detenu under the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982 as a Boot Legger and quash the same and direct the respondents to produce the detenu namely Santhakumar, S/o.Veeraiyan, male aged about 43 years, who is detained in Central Prison, Tiruchirapalli before this Honourable Court and set him at liberty.

(Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.) https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to call for records relating

to detention order, dated 23.11.2015 passed in P.D.No.70 of 2015 against the detenu by name Santhakumar, son of Veeraiyan by the detaining authority, who has been arrayed as second respondent herein and quash the same.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has submitted that as per G.O.Rt.No.390 dated 28.01.2016, the detention order in question has been revoked and to that effect, a copy of the said G.O has been submitted and this Court has perused the same.

3. Considering the fact that the detention order passed against the detenu has already been revoked by the Government, the relief sought in the petition has become infructuous.
