ORDER

****** (Order of the Court was made by M.V.MURALIDARAN, J.) The petitioner is the wife of one Mr.Ganesan, S/o.Jeganathan, aged 52 years. She has filed this Habeas Corpus Petition stating that her husband was found missing and on the basis of the complaint given by her, a case was registered in Crime No.131 of 2016 as "man missing". Since the detenu has not been secured, the petitioner has come up with this Habeas Corpus Petition.

2. The third respondent has filed a status report stating that one Santhanakumar @ Mani, Son of Kannan and Kannan, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

S/o.Santhanam in collusion with one Lakshmanan, S/o.Paulsamy, murdered the detenu, by name Ganesan and the police arrested the accused and seized the weapons used in the occurrence along with one petrol cane and remanded them to judicial custody on 10.07.2016. A case has also been registered under Sections 302 and 201 r/w 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. In view of the status report filed by the third respondent, nothing survives for adjudication in this Habeas Corpus Petition and hence, the same is dismissed.
