This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent not to harass the petitioner except under due process of law by considering the representation given by the petitioner dated 02.04.2025.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that already a case has been registered as against the petitioner in Cr.No.34 of 2025 and the same is pending. He has also got anticipatory bail from the Court below. Even after that, the respondent police harassing the petitioner without any valid reasons. Therefore, he has sent a representation to the respondents, but the same has not been considered. Hence, this petition.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that the petitioner is an accused in Cr.No.34 of 2025 and they have also got information that the petitioner has got nexus with other criminals. In order to ascertain the availability of the petitioner, they went to the petitioner's house and apart from that they have not harassed the petitioner. 2/4

4.Considering the prayer of the petitioner and the respondent police has also denied the allegations of the petitioner that they have harassed the petitioner, recording the submission of the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), this petition is closed. 22.04.2025 Internet :Yes Index :Yes/No NCC :Yes/No PNM To 1.The Superintendent of Police, Ramanathapuram District.
