This Criminal Original Petition is filed to quash the first 1/4
information report in Crime No.409 of 2022 dated 17.06.2022 pending on the file of the first respondent police, insofar as the petitioners are concerned.
2.Mr.M.Sakthi Kumar, learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) takes notice for the first respondent and submits that the investigation has already been completed and final report has been filed before the Chief Judicial Magistrate Court, Kumbakonam and the same is taken on file by the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate in CC No.521 of 2023 on 10.08.2023.
3.Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), this Criminal Original Petition is closed with liberty to the petitioners to challenge the final report, if they are having any grounds. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous petition is also closed.
