O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed by the petitioners to direct the respondents no.3 and 4 to consider the petitioners representations dated 22.12.2024 and 03.04.2025 to conduct peace committee meeting.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor (Criminal Side) appearing for the 2nd respondent would submit that based on the representations of the petitioners, the 3rd respondent sent a requisite letter to the 2nd respondent for a report in respect of the issue and the 2nd respondent is also conducting enquiry. They will conduct enquiry and sent a report to the 3rd respondent and thereafter, the 3rd respondent will take steps to conduct peace committee meeting.

3. Considering the prayer sought for in the petition, this Court Page No. 2 of 4

without even issuing notice to the private respondent no.5 inclined to pass orders in this petition.

4. Since the prayer of the petitioners is to consider the representations of the petitioners for conducting peace committee meeting and the 3rd respondent has also referred the matter to the 2nd respondent for conducting enquiry and to file a report, and the same is pending for enquiry, it is for the 3rd respondent to take appropriate action in accordance with law. Therefore, recording the above said submission of the 2nd respondent, this Court directs the respondents no.3 and 4 to consider the representations of the petitioners dated 22.12.2024 and 03.04.2025 and take appropriate action in accordance with law within a period of one month from the date of this order.

5. With the above said observation and direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected writ miscellaneous petition is closed.
