The relief sought for in the present writ petition is to direct the respondents 1 to 6 to take appropriate action against the persons involved in illegal mining in the S.F.Nos.150, 151, 152 and 157 and to consider the petitioner representation dated 03.09.2018.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 & 3 to 6 would submit that the lease period for illegal sand mining/quarrying expired and no further renewal license has been granted.
