O R D E R
The petitioner is the owner of lands in S.F.No.15/7B and 15/8 situated at Keelakurichi Village, Thiruverambur Circle, Trichy District. The grievance of the petitioner is that only a draft award was passed and that too only in respect of survey No.15/8. Even before hearing the petitioner's objections, the award came to be passed, the petitioner has objected to the compensation being offered and also stated that the availability of electricity service connection and other amenities like well etc., have not been considered / taken into account while arriving at compensation.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate for the respondents.
3. However, the learned Government Advocate on instructions submits that award was passed on 14.06.2024 and compensation amount has been kept in Court deposit.

4. Be that as it may, I find that there is no reference to the award being served on the petitioner. In fact, the petitioner has only sent a representation seeking enhanced compensation and the said representation has not been considered or disposed till date.
5. In view of the above circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of, directing the 1st respondent to conduct an enquiry and take into account all relevant factors including passing of award, if any, and pass final orders on the petitioner's representation, dated 02.09.2024, after giving a personal hearing to the petitioner to fortify her contentions for enhanced compensation, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
6. With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
