O R D E R
[Order of the Court was made by K.KALYANASUNDARAM, J.] The present habeas corpus petition has been filed for a direction to the respondents to produce the petitioner's wife viz., Kanchana, D/o. Sivaraman, aged about 28 years, before this Court and set her at liberty.
2. It is the case of the petitioner that his wife, the detenu herein was found missing from 09.04.2021. Hence, he lodged a complaint with the second respondent. Since no appropriate action was taken, the present Habeas Corpus Petition.
3. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, both the petitioner as well as the detenu appeared from the Public Prosecutor Office through video conferencing. On enquiry, the detenu would state that she was in her friend's house at Cuddalore and now she is willing to go with her husband, the petitioner herein. H.C.P.(MD) No.983 of 2021 agreed for the same.
4. Recording the statement of the detenu, the Habeas Corpus Petition is closed.
