Respondents This Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 27.03.2015 with regard to the cancellation of auction of tender for parking the vehicle at Iyanar Temple, Krishnapuram Panchayat in favour of one Karuppiah dated 20.03.2015.

ORDER

The petitioner has come forward with this Writ Petition to consider his representation dated 27.03.2015 with regard to the cancellation of auction of tender for parking the vehicle at Iyanar Temple, Krishnapuram Panchayat in favour of one Karuppiah dated 20.03.2015..

2. Mr.M.Murugan, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the first respondent and Mr.Aairam K.Selvakumar, learned Govt.Advocate takes notice for the second and the third respondents.

3. By consent, this Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit the present auction conducted by the respondents is much less than amount collected in the previous years, which clearly depicts mala fide attitude of the authorities. In this regard, the petitioner has also https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

made a representation to the respondents, yet, there is no action by them. Further, he would submit that he is ready to pay over and above the amount given to the said Karuppiah, if the tender is awarded to him.

5. The learned Government Advocates appearing for the respondents would submit that the representation of the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law.

6. In view of the above serious allegations levelled in this Writ Petition, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner in this Writ Petition, the first respondent is directed to pass appropriate orders on the representation of the petitioner, dated 27.03.2015, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to the interested parties, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
