2. With the consent of both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final hearing at the admission stage itself.

3. The cutting order has been issued to the original successful bidder on 24.03.2023. There can be no public auction now. Hence, this writ petition is dismissed. The respondents shall ensure that the person who has been favoured

with the cutting order is given adequate protection to take the fruits of the investment. No costs.
