ORDER

This petition is filed to direct the first respondent to give suitable direction to the respondents 5 to 8 not to harass the petitioner on the basis of the representation dated 06.07.2021.

2. The case of the petitioner is that he is doing stitching business and the respondents 5 to 8 continuously called the petitioner for enquiry as if he is involved in illegal sale of prohibited lottery. The grievance of the petitioner is that though there is no written complaint, there is continuous harassment. 3.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor (Crl.side) would submit that a case has been registered in Crime No. 400 of 2021 against one Shanmugam, on the basis of the confessional statement of the above said accused, Since this petitioner also seems to have involved in illegal sale of prohibited lottery, he had been called for enquiry and he is also going to be arrayed as accused in the above crime.

4. In view of the above, there will be no question of harassment. Recording the aforesaid submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
