ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J) This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondents to trace out and produce the detenu by name Selvam, son of Paramasivam, husband of the petitioner.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has represented that the detenu has been arrested and remanded to custody in connection with Crime No.19 of 2016 under Section 379 altered into Section 379 of the Indian Penal Code read with 34 of the Indian Penal Code on the file of the Bazaar Police Station, Pondicherry and to that effect, necessary documents have been filed wherein it is stated that the detenu has been arrested and remanded to custody in connection with Crime No.19 of 2016. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. Since the detenu has been arrested and remanded to custody, the relief sought in the petition has become infructuous.
