Respondents Prayer:- Habeas Corpus Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus directing the respondents to produce the body and person of the petitioner's husband Tharmar (aged about 50 years) who is presumably in the custody of the respondent No.3 before this Court and release him.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J) This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondents 1 & 2 to trace out and produce the detenu by name Tharmar, aged 50 years, who is none other than the husband of the petitioner.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has represented that the detenu has been arrested and remanded to custody in connection with Crime No.213 of 2016 registered under Sections 341, 294(b), 387, 307 and 506(ii) of the Indian Penal Code and subsequently remanded to custody.

3. On the basis of representation made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor remand report has been filed.

4. Considering the fact that the detenu has already been remanded to custody, the relief sought in the petition has become infructuous.
