O R D E R
[Order of the Court was made by K.KALYANASUNDARAM, J.] The petitioner has filed this habeas corpus petition seeking direction to the respondents to produce his daughter, namely, Prammaveni, aged about 19 years, before this Court and set her at liberty.
2. According to the petitioner, the detenue - Prammaveni was working at Rithis Cell Phone Shop at Karungalagudi in Melur Taluk, Madurai District. She went to job on 14.08.2020, but thereafter, she did not return to home and hence, he lodged a complaint before the second respondent and the same was registered in C.S.R.No.138 of 2020 on 16.08.2020, however, no action was taken by the Police.
3. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the detenue - Prammaveni along with the third respondent - Vijay @ https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
H.C.P.(MD) No.667 of 2020 Vijayapandi appeared before this Court through Video Conferencing from the Office of the Public Prosecutor. On enquiry, the detenue stated that on her own volition, she left the home and on 04.09.2020, she married the third respondent at Anna Nagar in Dharapuram and now, they are living together happily.
4. In view of the above statement of the detenue, no further adjudication is required in this habeas corpus petition and the same is, therefore, closed.
