Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a writ of Mandamus to direct the 1st respondent herein to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 01.12.2014 and 08.01.2015 for posting the petitioner either at I.T.I. Madurai, or at I.T.I Sivagangai as Training Officer in the existing vacancy in accordance with rules and in the manner known to law. For Petitioner :

This writ petition is filed seeking for a mandamus directing the first respondent to consider the representations of the petitioner 01.12.2014 and 08.01.2015, whereby he seeks transfer from the present place of working to ITI, Madurai or ITI, Sivagangai as Training Officer in the existing vacancy.

2. It is the grievance of the petitioner that even though there are vacancies in the above said places, to which the petitioner is seeking transfer, the respondents are not considering the request of the petitioner.

3. Considering the fact that the petitioner has already made representations to the first respondent on 01.12.2014 and 08.01.2015, seeking for transfer to those places, it is for the first respondent to consider such request and pass appropriate orders, if it is feasible to consider the request of the petitioner.

4. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of with the direction to the first respondent to consider the request of the petitioner dated 01.12.2014 and 08.01.2015 and pass orders on the same within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
