PRAYER :- For Bail in Crime No. 110/2023 on the file of the Respondent Police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/A3, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 29.03.2023 for the offence punishable under Sections 379,109 of IPC and section 65 of Tamil Nadu City Police Act @ 379,109, 402 if IPC and section 65 of Tamil Nadu City Police Act, in crime No.110 of 2023 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that on 29.03.2023 while the defacto complainant was travelling in the bus the petitioner along with other accused had given their child to them and while the defacto complainant was speaking with the child, the petitioner along with other accused have stolen the purse of the defacto complainant, hence the case.

3. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record including the First Information Report and also the counter filed by the respondent.

4. The petitioner has no permanent residence. she also joined with the gang and indulged in criminal activities as their profession. They divert the attention of the gullible passengers and committed pit pocket. Finger print of the petitioner also matched with the sample. That apart all the accused involved in so many previous cases. Now the respondent completed investigation and filed final report and the same has been taken cognizance in PRC No.107 of 2023 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Tirunelveli and at this stage if the petitioner is granted bail, she will flew away and the entire trial will be stalled, hence this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

5. In the result the petition stands dismissed. However the trial Court is directed to complete the trial proceedings within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
