O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by A.D.JAGADISH CHANDIRA, J.] The petitioner has filed this habeas corpus petition seeking a direction to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to produce the body or person of the detenue, the petitioner's daughter named Viveka, D/o.Kannan aged about 21 years before this Court and set her at liberty

2. Alleging that her daughter aged about 21 years was found missing from 01.04.2025 and that no action was taken by the second respondent despite the registration of the case in Crime No.87 of 2025, the present petition has been filed by the petitioner/mother.

3. Pursuant to the issuance of notice on 22.04.2025, the second respondent has produced the alleged missing person before this Court .

4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner's daughter was missing from 01.04.2025 for which the petitioner has preferred complaint and based on the same a case has been registered in Crime No. 87 of 2025 and since no action has been taken, the petitioner has approached this Court.

5. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that based on the complaint given by the petitioner a case in Crime No. 87 of 2025 was registered for 'women missing' and during the course of investigation it was found that the missing person/daughter of the petitioner had on her own volition gone along with the third respondent/Manikandan and they have also got married

6. We enquired the alleged detenue. She submitted that she is aged about 21 years and she was in love with the third respondent and since it was objected to by her mother she gone out of her house and got married to the third respondent. She submitted that she is not under illegal detention of anybody

7. In view of the same, the Habeus Corpus Petition stands closed. [A.D.J.C., J.] [R.P., J.] 06.06.2025 NCC :
