..Respondent Prayer :- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the Revenue Divisional Officer, Tuticorin the 2nd respondent herein to represent the returned LAOP petition with required documents in D.No.743/2005 dated 28.7.2005 on the file of the Sub Court, Tuticorin (now Sub Court, Tiruchendur) in respect of lands situate in survey number 230/A2-2B of an extent of 1.03.5 hectares acquired under the Land Acquisition Act 1894 within a stipulated period and number the case.
ORDER:- This Writ Petition coming on for orders on this day under the caption for "Extension of time" and upon perusing the earlier order of this court dated 1/4
11/12/2020, 16/12/2020,11.10.2023, 16.10.2023 and the requisition letter submitted by the learned Subordinate Judge, Thoothukudi ,in D.No.261/2025 dated 22/03/2025,and this court made the folowing order;- ''The learned Sub-Judge, Tuticorin has made a written request through the learned Principal District Judge, Tuticorin seeking further extension of time to conclude the hearing/dispose of the case.
2. I find from the written requisition that 56 new claimants have been added and claim statements have been filed and now, the LAOP is posted for evidence on the side of the claimants.
3. In view of the above, I am inclined to accept the request for extension of time. Time is further extended by six months to enable the Sub-Judge, Tuticorin to dispose of the LAOP No.1 of 2024. ''
