.. Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to disburse the payment of Rs.49,48,500/- payable to the petitioner 1/4

for the work which I have done during the COVID-19 pandemic along with interest at the rate of 24% P.A forthwith by considering her representation dated 10.02.2026 within a time frame as may be fixed by this Court. ORDER

The petitioner claims that, during the COVID-19 pandemic, he supplied 160 workers for the period from 11.11.2020 to 11.01.2021, fixing Rs.500/- per day as wages for each worker. On that basis, he submitted a representation to the second respondent seeking payment of a sum of Rs.49,48,500/- towards the manpower supplied. The grievance of the petitioner is that the said representation has not been considered.

2. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for respondents 2 to 4, upon instructions, submitted that the petitioner's claim would be considered in accordance with law, provided the petitioner submits a fresh representation within the time frame stipulated by this Court. 2/4

3. Recording the said submission, this Writ Petition is disposed of, directing the petitioner to submit a fresh representation to the second respondent. Upon receipt of such representation, the second respondent shall consider the same on its own merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of two (2) months from the date of receipt of the fresh representation. No costs.
