ORDER

The petitioner is the purchaser, and he, along with the vendor, presented the sale deed dated 25.11.2025 for registration in respect of the properties comprised in Plot Nos. 41, 42, 43, and 44 in the "Park Avenue" layout, situated 1/4

in Survey Nos. 324/1, 342/2, and 324/4 at Managiri Sukkanenthal Village, Manamadurai Taluk, Sivagangai District. The second respondent refused to register the sale deed on the ground of title dispute. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner filed a statutory appeal before the first respondent on 09.03.2026. The grievance of the petitioner is that the first respondent has not taken any steps to consider and dispose of the said appeal on merits.

2. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the appeal filed by the petitioner would be disposed of within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. In view of the above, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the first respondent to dispose of the appeal dated 09.03.2026 on its own merits and in accordance with law within a period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. There shall be no order as to costs.
