ORDER

The Writ Petition has been filed in the nature of a mandamus seeking a direction to grant patta to the petitioner for land in survey no.104/1 at Kattakanjampatti Village, Aruppukottai Taluk, Virudhunagar District. The petitioner had given a representation on 17.03.2023.

2. The petitioner claims that he and his forefathers were in possession of the said lands. He sought patta for the said lands.

3. Learned Additional Government pleader however stated that the said lands have been categorized as 'Sarkar Poromboke Kalam' in the revenue records.

4. Let a formal order be passed by the respondents on the representation given by the petitioner on 17.03.2023. Before such order is passed, let notice 2/4

be issued and after following due process and then the order may be passed. The entire exercise may be completed on or before 31.07.2023.
