..Respondents Habeas Corpus Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus or any other Writ or Direction calling for the records relating to the detention order passed by the 2nd respondent in P.D.No.47 of 2015 dated 21.12.2015 and quash the same and direct the respondents to produce the person or body of the detenu Rajan @ Chanthai Rajan aged about 35 years S/o.Ramasamy Nadar now detained at Central Prison, Palayamkottai before this Court and set him at liberty.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.) This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to call for records relating to the detention order passed in P.D.No.47 of 2015 dated 21.12.2015 by the detaining authority who has been arrayed as second respondent herein against the detenu by name Rajan @ Chanthai Rajan S/o.Ramasamy and quash the same.

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has represented that by virtue of G.O.Rt.No.607 dated 15.02.2016, the detention order in question has been revoked.

3.Considering the representation made on the side of the respondents, the relief sought in the petition has become infructuous. 4.In fine, this Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed.
