Respondents Prayer:- Habeas Corpus Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus directing the respondents to produce the person or body of the petitioner's husband Senthilkumar @ Viswaraj, son of Ananth Mohan, aged about 34 years, the detenu herein before this Court and set him at liberty.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J) This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondents to trace out and produce the detenu by name Senthilkumar @ Viswaraj, aged 34 years, husband of the petitioner.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has represented that the detenu has been arrested in connection with Crime No.189 of 2014 under Sections 406 and 420 of the Indian Penal Code on the file of D-2 Sellur Police Station and subsequently remanded to custody.

3. On the basis of the representation made on the side of the respondents, a remand report has been filed wherein it has been clearly mentioned that the detenu has been arrested and remanded to custody.

4. Since the detenu has been arrested and remanded to custody, the relief sought in the petition has become infructuous.
