ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondent police to file a final report in Crime No.161 of 2019 dated 1/4

19.03.2019, within a stipulated period as may be fixed by this Court. 2.The petitioner has preferred a complaint before the respondent police and the same was registered in Crime No.161 of 2019 for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 294(b), 506(ii) of IPC and Section 3(1) of TNPPDL Act. The grievance of the petitioner is that through the case was registered in the year 2019, so far no progress in the investigation process.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) would submit that so far four witnesses have been examined during the enquiry process. He would further submitted that the investigation will be completed within a short time and the final report will be filed within a period of three months before the concerned Court.

4.In view of the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), there shall be a direction to the respondent police to file the final report before the concerned Court within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4

5.With the above said directions, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
