This Writ Petition is filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 28.04.2015 seeking to revoke the order of removal from service and the order of suspension and to permit the petitioner to retire from services with effect from 30.06.2001 with all attendant benefits. 2.Heard Mr. R. Subramanian, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.V. Pandi, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

Considering the limited scope of the prayer in this writ petition, and the admitted facts in this case, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case of the petitioner, this Court is inclined to pass the following directions: " The first respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 28.04.2015, regarding the revocation of the order of removal and the order of suspension purely on merits and in accordance with law, within the period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order." 4.With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
