The writ petitioner filed this Writ Petition seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to grant permission and to provide protection to conduct the Adal Padal dance Programme on 06.05.2023 in pursuant to the Sri Balambigai Sametha, Sri Kiruthapurishwarar @ Neyyadiappar Alaya Sathasthana, Thiruvizha situated at Thiruneithanam, Thiruvaiyaru Thanjavur District by considering the petitioner representation dated 19.04.2023 within the time stipulation as prescribed by this Court. 2.Mr.R.Suresh Kumar, learned Government Advocate(Crl. Side) takes notice for the respondents.
3.The respondent police present before this Court and submitted that in the year 2021, there was a communal problem, over which, several cases have been registered. But, after that there is no problem in that area.
4.If the respondent police apprehends any breach of peace or any law and order problem, let the second respondent conduct enquiry on the 2/4
above said representation by summoning the petitioner and all necessary parties and on the basis of the outcome of the enquiry, orders shall be passed forthwith.
5.With the above said directions, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
