Respondent This Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to survey and measure the property in Survey Number 131 Palangulam Village Sattankulam Taluk to the extent of 02.42 out of 09.60 ares supported by registered sale deed dated 13.06.1969 by disposing of the petitioner representation dated 01.04.2015 on merits and according to law within stipulated time as fixed by this court. ORDER

The petitioner has come forward with this Writ Petition directing respondents to survey and measure the property for the lands owned by him.

2. Mr.K.Guru, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents.

3. By consent, this Writ Petition itself is taken up final disposal.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that it would be suffice if the representation of the petitioner is disposed of, on merits and in accordance with law, within the time stipulated by this Court.

5. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents has no objection in considering the representation of the petitioner, on merits.

6. In view of the above, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner in this Writ Petition, the respondent is directed to survey and measure the petitioner's property, by considering the representation of the petitioner, dated 1.4.2015, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to the adjoining owners, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
