O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to direct the second respondent herein to provide necessary police protection to the petitioner's life and limb and his family members at the time of constructing the petitioner's house.

2. Today, when the petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side), appearing for the respondents 1 and 2, on instructions, would submit that upon the complaint given by the petitioner, the second respondent herein initiated an enquiry in C.No.NDIS/G2/INSPR/Tapal/2020, dated 30.06.2020 and during the time of enquiry, the third respondent, who is the opposite party to the petitioner, had given an undertaking that he will not disturb the construction work made in the petitioner's house. After recording the same, the enquiry has been closed.

3. In view of the above, as of now, since no petition is pending on the file of the second respondent Police, further order is not necessary in this Petition. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition stands closed.
