O R D E R
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 5 to grant permission and
necessary protection to conduct the festival and cultural programme at Arulmighu Mariamman Kaliamman, Bagavathiamman, Karpagavinayagar, Murugan Kovil, Thiruvizha at Perumampatti, Pannapatti Melpakkam Village, Manaparai Taluk, Trichy District in the month of Vaikasi. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 5.
3. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the official respondents submitted that there was a Peace Committee Meeting held on 23/5/2015 which was attended by all the parties. It was agreed to resolve the issue before the Court and if different groups joined together, permission can be granted.
4. Admittedly, the said period is over. Thereafter, the petitioner sent a representation on 25/5/2015. Therefore, this Court directs the third respondent to look into the representation of the petitioner and dispose it of within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of this Court, after hearing the petitioner as well as the other rival groups.
5. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
