Respondents This Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to enter the petitioner name in the 2nd respondent village office record for his property bearing survey No.559-4C and 561-30 situated at Maruthur South I Village Kulithalai Taluk Karur District on the basis of Patta was issued in the petitioner name by the 1st Respondent as Patta No. 19 by considering the petitioner representation sent to the respondents dated 07.04.2015. ORDER
The petitioner has come forward with this Writ Petition to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 07.04.2015.
2. Mr.S.Chandrasekar learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents.
3. By consent, this Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that to enter the name of the petitioner in the revenue records of the second respondent, the petitioner has submitted a representation dated 07.04.2015, to the respondents. He would further submit that it would be suffice if the representation of the petitioner is disposed of, by the respondents, on merits and in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Court. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
5. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents has no objection in considering the representation of the petitioner, on merits.
6. In view of the above, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner in this Writ Petition, the second respondent is directed to pass appropriate orders on the representation of the petitioner, dated 07.04.2015, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to the interested parties, if any, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
