Respondents This Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to correct the mistake and make proper entry in registering the date of birth of the petitioner and issue the birth certificate as fresh after registering the date of birth of the petitioner as 30.12.1992 within the time stipulated by this Court. ORDER

The petitioner has come forward with this Writ Petition praying for a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to correct the mistake and make proper entry in registering the date of birth to the petitioner and issue the birth certificate as fresh after registering the date of birth of the petitioner as 30.12.1992 within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. Mr.R.Murali, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the first respondent and Mr.K.Guru, takes notice for the second respondent.

3. By consent, this Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that it would be suffice if the representation of the petitioner is disposed of, by the first respondent, on merits and in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Court. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5. The learned counsel appearing for the respondents would submit that the representation of the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law.

6. A perusal of the affidavit would indicate the fact that pointing out certain error committed by the first respondent in entering the date of brith, the petitioner has submitted a representation and the same is pending consideration. In view of the above, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner in this Writ Petition, the first respondent is directed to pass appropriate orders on the representation of the petitioner, dated 08.04.2015, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
