ORDER
The petitioner is the sole accused in Crime No.05 of 2025 on the file of the first respondent Police which was registered for the offence under Section 318(4) of BNS Act, 2023 and Section 66D of Information Technology Amendment Act, 2008. He has filed this application to quash the proceedings pending against him in Crime No.05 of 2025 on the file of the first respondent Police, on the ground that the issue has been amicably settled among themselves.
2.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, Mr.P.Kottaichamy, learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the first respondent submits that the investigation has already been completed and final report has been filed and the same has been taken on file in C.C.No.326 of 2025, by the learned Judicial Magistrate No.2, 2/4
3.Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), this Criminal Original Petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to challenge the final report, if so advised, in the manner known to law.
