Respondents This Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for a writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to provide electricity connection to the petitioner's house in 6/100, Venkatesawara Street, Thimmarajapuram, Tirunelveli District, without insisting 'No Objection Certificate' from the 2nd respondent.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed praying for Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to give electricity supply to the house of the petitioner situated at Thimmarajapuram, Palayamkottai Taluk, Tirunelveli District, without insisting 'No Objection Certificate' to be obtained from the second respondent. 2.

When the matter is taken up for hearing, both the parties mutually consented upon to dispose of this Writ Petition in similar to the order made in W.P.(MD).No.4944 of 2015 dated 15.04.2015.

Therefore, following the earlier order of this Court made in W.P.(MD).No.4944 of 2015 dated 15.04.2015, on the very same subject, this Writ Petition is also disposed of, directing the petitioner to approach the first respondent with all the relevant documents, viz., family card, nativity certificate and copy of the sale deed as proof of purchase etc., and on receipt of such application, the authority shall also issue a notice to the second https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

respondent and call for an enquiry and then pass appropriate orders, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The second respondent is also at liberty to produce all the relevant documents to substantiate their claim. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
