O R D E R

The writ petitioner filed this Writ Petition seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondents to grant permission and necessary protection to conduct the cultural programs i.e., on 05.05.2023 to 09.05.2023 including "Aadal Padal" Programme on 06.05.2023 at about 06.00 P.M to 10.30 P.M in the eve of "Chithirai Mulunilavu Peru Vizha" of Arulmighu Nagakanniamman Kovil, Puliyakudi, Papanasam Taluk, Thanjavur District.

2.Mr.R.Suresh Kumar, learned Government Advocate(Crl. Side) takes notice for the respondents.

3.The respondent police present before this Court and submitted that in the year 2021, there was a communal problem, over which, several cases have been registered. But, after that there is no problem in that area.

4.If the respondent police apprehends any breach of peace or any law and order problem, let the second respondent conduct enquiry on the above said representation by summoning the petitioner and all necessary 2/4

parties and on the basis of the outcome of the enquiry, orders shall be passed forthwith.

5.With the above said directions, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
