[Order of the Court was made by K.KALYANASUNDARAM, J.] This habeas corpus petition has been filed for a direction to the respondents to produce the detenu viz., Murugan @ Load Murugan, S/o. Ganesan, aged about 36 years, before this Court and set him at liberty.

2. Mr.S.Ravi, learned Standing counsel appearing for the respondents would submit that the detenu was secured by the Inspector of Police, Keeraithurai Police Station for possession of 28 Kgs. of ganja. It is further stated that the detenu was arrested on 08.07.2021 and remanded to judicial custody on 09.07.2021, for the involvement of Crime No.413 of 2021.

3. In the light of the above submission, we find no merit in the petition. Hence, the Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed.
