Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Mandamus, to direct the 3rd respondent herein to provide free electricity connection to the petitioner's land in Survey No.619/2A1A measuring about 0-45.35 hectares situated at Koovanuthu Village, Dindigul East Taluk, Dindigul District based on the proceedings of the 2nd respondent in Na.Ka. No.4744/2023/I3 dated 05.02.2024 within a time frame as stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that without going into the merits of the case, the petitioner may be permitted to make an application for free electricity connection before the third respondent in the manner known law.

2. Recording the above submission, this Writ Petition stands dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to make an application for free electricity connection in terms of the Electricity Laws before the third respondent. If such an application is made, the third respondent is directed to consider the same and pass orders as expeditiously as possible.
