ORDER

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent and Thiru.D.Selvam, learned counsel appearing for A8 and A10 also intervened to make his submissions.

2.The petitioner is the defacto complainant in Crime No.147 of 2020 registered on the file of the Uthamapalayam Police Station for the offences under Sections 147, 148, 447, 294(b), 342, 323, 324, 506(2) and 307 of IPC.

3.The case has since been charge sheeted and the committal proceedings are pending before the Judicial Magistrate, Uthamapalayam in P.R.C.No.36 of 2020 and the next hearing date is 27.11.2020. The petitioner wants this Court to expedite the committal proceedings.

4.In my view, no exception can be taken to his request as such. Therefore, the learned Judicial Magistrate, Uthamapalayam, is directed to expedite the committal proceedings. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
