O R D E R

The writ petitioner filed this Writ Petition seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents herein to grant permission and necessary protection to conduct the Adal Padal cultural programme on 07.05.2023 at 07.00 PM to 11.00 PM in pursuant to the festival conducted in Sri Panayadi Karuppsamy temple, Sri Yegiri Pidariamman Temple and Sri Sambuvan temple situated at Aathavathur Village, Trichy District, and consider the petitioner's representation dated 20.04.2023.

2. Mr. R.Suresh Kumar, learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) takes notice for the respondents 1 and 2. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

4. In view of the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the Peace Committee Meeting shall be conducted on 05.05.2023 by Tahsildar, Srirangam. In the above said meeting, the petitioner and as well as the rival parties must participate. Depending upon the outcome of the resolution to be adopted in the above said the meeting, further action may be taken either by the petitioner or by the 2/4

competent authority.

5. With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
