ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by N. ANAND VENKATESH,J.) This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed for a direction to the first and second respondents to produce the petitioner's mother, who is said to be in the illegal custody of the fourth respondent and to set her at liberty.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the detenue, who is the mother of the petitioner, was produced before this Court. She stated that she was living for some time along with her mother. She further stated that she is willing to go along with the petitioner.

3. The petitioner stated that he will take his mother along with him. He further submitted that the fourth respondent, who is the neighbour, is causing threat and the second respondent Police are not taking any steps.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that a woman missing FIR has been registered in Crime No.188 of 2026 by the second respondent.

5. In the light of the above development, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to call the fourth respondent and the petitioner for an enquiry. If there is a property dispute, both of them shall be advised to resolve the same before a competent Civil Court and the fourth respondent shall be directed not to cause any threat to the petitioner or to his mother.
