Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondent nos.1 and 2 to conduct detailed in to the illegal mining of the minerals in Thaangaikulam under Tiruchendur Taluk, Ambalkulam and Suppurayankulam under Sathankulam Taluk and initiate necessary action in accordance with law against illegal miners and to recover the amount from the persons illegally mined the minerals and to put the recovered money into the government. ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.) Regarding the allegations of illegal mining, criminal cases were registered by the jurisdictional police and the cases are in progress. If at all any grievance exist as of now regarding illegal mining, the petitioner is at liberty to give further complaint for initiation of all further actions. Illegal mining at no circumstances be permitted by the authorities and in the event of any such complaint filed by the petitioner, the authorities have to be held accountable and responsible.
