:Respondents This Habeas Corpus Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issue of a Writ of Habeas Corpus to issue a direction, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to produce the body or person of petitioner's wife Mrs.Banupriya, Female aged 20/2016, who has detained by her relatives as illegal custody from 01.04.2016 before this Court and set her at liberty forthwith.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by K.K.SASIDHARAN, J.) The second respondent produced the detenue by name Banupriya before us. We examined the detenue. 2.According to the detenue, she was forcibly taken by the petitioner against her wishes. Now, the detenu wanted to go with her parents. The parents are present in Court. The detenue is aged about 20 years. Being a major, the detenue has every right to choose her residence.

3.Having said that she wanted to go with her parents, we do not find any reason to keep this habeas corpus petition pending. The detenue is set at liberty.

6.The habeas corpus petition is closed with the above observation.
