Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to appoint the petitioner as Village Administrative Officer on compassionate ground appointment in the light of the recommendation given by the 4th respondent in his letter Na.Ka.B4/8280/2010 dated 20.08.2010. O R D E R

The Writ Petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to appoint the petitioner as Village Administrative Officer on compassionate ground appointment in the light of the recommendation given by the 4th respondent in his letter Na.Ka.B4/8280/2010 dated 20.08.2010.

2.Even though such a prayer cannot be granted by this Court, however, taking note of the recommendation of the 4th respondent dated 20.08.2010 and also a proceedings of the District Collector, Sivagangai, dated 29.08.2011, the case of the petitioner may be considered based on his representation dated 28.03.2012.

3. Mr.K.P.Krishnadoss, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents.

4.In view of the same, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 28.03.2012 on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5.With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
